Successful Implementation of the HAS-V94.2 Project on G11 and G12 Units at Bampor Power Plant in Iranshahr
The HAS-V94.2 project was executed on the G11 and G12 units of Bampor Power Plant in Iranshahr in Ordibehesht 1401 (April-May 2022) and Farvardin 1402 (March-April 2023), respectively, and was successfully delivered to the employer.
With the implementation of the HAS project, 10.5 megawatts were added to the power generation of each gas unit at Bampor Power Plant at 45°C. By modifying the compressor design point, this project increases the capacity of V94.2 gas turbines in hot environmental conditions.
Given the electricity supply-demand imbalances and the need for gas turbines with optimal performance during peak grid demand, Turbotec Company has developed and executed several projects to upgrade gas turbines. The HAS project for the V94.2 turbine, which holds the largest share in the country’s power generation capacity, is one of the most successful examples of these initiatives.
